Admission in M.B.B.S Course:

If you are an aspirant for the M.B.B.S course, then you have to complete age limit of at least 17 years. You also have to pass pre medical or ISC or Higher Secondary or any other equivalent examination from a recognized board or university with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, English or any other optional subject with minimum of 50% marks. You are advised to keep a close watch on daily newspapers in order to know the proper time period for distribution of forms. Generally the admission forms are distributed after publication of (10+2) standard results.

Admission in MD/MS/PG Diploma in Modern Medicine:

When you are applying for admission in MD/MS/PG diploma in Modern Medicine then you are actually applying for various courses, which include:

After publication of M.B.B.S or other equivalent examinations, application forms will be available to apply for these post graduation courses. If you are interested in applying for these post graduation and diploma courses, your selection process will be done on the basis of merit. You merit test will be done on the basis of a competitive test conducted by the West Bengal University of Health Science.

Admission in BDS/ MDS:

In order to take admission in BDS course offered by the WBUHS, you have to qualify the (10+2) standard examination of any board, recognized by the West Bengal Board of Health Science. In addition to this, you have to score at least 50% marks in each of the following subjects: Biology, Physics, Chemistry, English and any other optional subject.

For admission in MDS course, you have to obtain a BDS degree from any recognized board or university. After submitting you application, your selection will be done completely on the basis of merit.

Admission to Bachelor in Speech Language and Pathology:

For admission to Bachelor in and Speech Language Pathology, your age limit should be between 17-25 years. You have to secure at least 50% marks in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English and any other optional subject as fifth one.

Admission in Bachelor of Physiotherapy:

You have to secure at least 50% marks in subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English and any other optional subject in the (10+2) level examination.

Admission in Ph. D Course:

Only those persons are eligible to apply for admission in the Ph. D course that are having post graduate degree from the West Bengal University of Health Science or from any other university recognized by the university. All those candidates, who according to the university parameters have already secured, required qualification from this university or from any other university recognized by WBUHS.
